Do you have to be Catholic to attend La Salle Academy?

Our school welcomes students of all faiths.

Is there a specific time when visitors can tour La Salle Academy?

Please call the school office at (570) 489-2010 to schedule a guided tour.

Is tuition assistance available to help defray the cost of tuition?

Scholarship opportunities are available through the Diocese of Scranton and La Salle Academy. In addition, La Salle Academy’s Scrip Program and designated school fundraisers provide parents the opportunity to subsidize their tuition payments.

Are there tuition payment plans available?

Tuition is paid to the FACTS Tuition Management Company. Options include 1 payment, 2 payments, or 12 monthly payments.

Which School Districts provide busing to La Salle Academy?

Busing is available for students in the Carbondale, Lakeland, Mid Valley, Valley View, North Pocono and Western Wayne School Districts.

What is the daily schedule at La Salle Academy?

Homeroom and daily Prayer Service begins at 8:05 am. Class begin promptly at 8:15 am. Dismissal begins for car riders at 1:45 pm for Pre-Kindergarten, 2 pm for Kindergarten, 2:15 pm for Grades 1 - 4, and 2:30 pm for Grades 5 - 8. Bus and van dismissal is at 2:15 pm for all grades.

Before and After School Care Services are available daily.

 

Does La Salle Academy have a hot lunch program?

La Salle Academy serves a healthy and freshly prepared menu of hot lunches daily. Students may also purchase a la carte items and assorted snacks.

Is there an online parent/school communication source available?

La Salle Academy offers parents/guardians access to grades, homework and more through an online information system, FACTS/RenWeb. You can also visit La Salle on the school’s webpage at www.lsaelementary.org.
